Tire Rotations

Rotating your tires every 8,000kms ensures that you maximize the designed tread life of your tires. This allows you to completely exhaust the built-in value of your tires saving you money on replacement. Properly rotated and inflated tires will also maximize fuel economy. What you save in otherwise wasted fuel, more than pays for the rotation.

On a front wheel drive vehicle, the rear tires act like those on a trailing axle and while in motion there is a slight bouncing motion which can result in abnormal wear patterns. In addition, the front tires are subject to wear from braking and edge wear from cornering. If left too long the tires useful life is reduced as tire noise level may increase substantially and edge wear may be concentrated on the front tires.Give us a call for more information about our services.

Comprehensive Brake Fluid Service

We recommend this service as different braking habits and temperatures can cause brake fluid to build moisture in the sealed braking system and this over time can reduce braking performance without notice.

Our Brake Fluid Service will push all expired or contaminated fluid from all braking system components: the master cylinder, ABS unit and all calipers and lines. We then replace the fluids in the entire system with new factory specified fluids ensuring all air is bled from the system.

Alignments

Perhaps the most ignored maintenance on vehicles today is the Alignment, primarily as your vehicle can be misaligned without you detecting, although rarely it may be evident to the driver in the form of pulling.

A properly aligned vehicle will respond properly under any sudden or emergency situation, it also maximizes fuel economy by lessening drag or resistance from misaligned tires. Misalignment leads to premature tire wear and reduced handling under extreme or emergency conditions. We recommend regular wheel alignment checks and always recommend checking when new tires are purchased.

We set your vehicle on our computerized alignment machine and check the specifications against the original factory settings. If all is good we provide you with a printout for your file and then we recheck in 24,000kms. If the readings are out of spec, we reset the alignment back to factory settings.

Have you replaced your cabin air filter?

The cabin air filter system filters the outside air that passes through the vehicle’s heating and ventilation and air conditioning systems as they work to heat or cool the cabin. They can also clog a vehicle’s heating and cooling system, reducing performance.  Cabin air filters should be replaced every 40,000 km or 24 months but replacement may be more frequent if the vehicle is driven in high dust or dirt conditions
